Forest Service Firefighter Dies In Helicopter Wreck In Montgomery County Texas

Investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating after a helicopter with 3 on board crashed in Montgomery County. The crash was reported shortly before 3 p.m. in the area of Bethel Road and FM 149.

Officials have confirmed 3 were on board and one has died from their injuries in this accident. The 2 others were taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center and are listed in stable condition.

The FAA is investigating & will determine the cause of the crash.
