Several Fannin County officers units are enroute to County Road 4605 for a subject with a gunshot wound. At this time we do not know if this is self inflicted or if someone shot the victim

UPDATE:
There was some kind of altercation between a father and son.
Lt. Frank Deater of the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office says that the 70-year-old father, Joseph Day of Trenton, feared for his safety during an altercation with his son, and fired a gun killing his son.
He then called 911 to report what had happened.
The Fannin County Sheriffs office is investigating this situation at this time. It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
