Several agencies are working a 6 vehicle accident on Hwy 243 near CR 101 in Kaufman County with possible fatalities.
DPS is on scene investigating a major accident involving 2 rock haulers, with one that has turned over, along with several other vehicles. Highway 243 is shutdown in both directions at this time.
UPDATE: 2 helicopters were dispatched to the scene. Officials as of 3:20 PM are stating road will be closed in both directions for at least the next 2 hours.
