Two 16 Year Old Kids Lead Hunt & Rockwall County Officer On Pursuit to Avoid Ticket #Breaking

Lone Oak officer got in behind a Black passenger vehicle, believed to be a Chrysler 300, that led officers on a pursuit thru 2 counties.

With speeds up to 130MPH, Hunt and Rockwall County officers pursued a vehicle that failed to stop. Lone Oak called chase around 12:30pm. Lone Oak Officer advised vehicle was speeding down Highway 69 and is failing to stop. When reaching Greenville, the black car got on I-30 Westbound and shot towards Rockwall. Vehicle was able to pull away from officer with speeds over 130MPH, eventually entering Rockwall County. A Rockwall officer was able to intercept the car entering their County. DPS entered the chase in Rockwall County, with Hunt County officers dropping out.

Vehicle finally came to a stop after being spiked in the area of I-30 Westbound near Dalrock Rd in Rockwall. Officers on the Rockwall Channel stated the 2 passengers in the vehicle, which were 16 year old kids, stated the only reason they ran was to avoid traffic tickets. Vehicle is being transported back to Hunt County, along with the occupants of the vehicle.
