There has been an exchange of gunfire between a suspect and federal officers. The suspect was shot and transported to an area hospital. No officers or other citizens injured.

No thru traffic on north and southbound Griffin from Commerce to Wood St. No thru traffic on Jackson St. from Lamar and Field. Commerce and Lamar are now open in both directions.
