Precinct 1 Constable Terry Jones Does It Again #YouCanRunButYouCantHide

A Greenville man being sought for an armed robbery is also being charged with attempting to hide from sheriff’s officers.

Terry Wayne Bishop Jr., 33, is being held in the Hunt County Detention Center on a total of $70,000 bond on one count each of aggravated robbery and evading arrest.

According to a report from the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to serve a warrant Monday afternoon in the 1100 block of Walworth Street in Greenville and observed three subjects in the back yard of the residence. As the officers stopped, Bishop fled into the neighborhood.Bishop was wanted out of the Greenville Police Department on a charge of aggravated robbery.

As the deputes were searching the neighborhood Precinct 1 Constable Terry Jones arrived on scene to assist and subsequently located Bishop hiding under some bushes.

“I am thankful that Mr. Bishop was able to be taken into custody with no one getting hurt and I want to thank Constable Terry Jones for responding and assisting in locating Mr. Bishop so quickly,”
