2 Arrested In Lone Oak Drug Raid

On July 16th, 2019 Tactical Teams from the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, Rains County Sheriff’s Office and Greenville Police Department executed a narcotic search at a residence in the 3700 block of FM 2649 in the Lone Oak area of Hunt County.

The search warrant was the result of an investigation conducted by Hunt County Sheriff’s Office Investigators who seized 1,750 grams of methamphetamine and 14 firearms from inside the residence.

The tactical teams also located children inside the residence and they were turned over to Child Protective Services at the scene and two adults were arrested and charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance greater than one gram. Those arrested are identified as follows:

April Lanae McMennamy, 32 year old female from Lone Oak, Texas
Curtis Leverl McMennamy, 34 year old male from Lone Oak, Texas

Both subjects have been arraigned and given a $100,000.00 bond each.

Sheriff Meeks stated: “I find it very troubling that these individuals were in possession of this dangerous drug and multiple firearms in the house with their children. I am very grateful for the successful outcome to this raid and that no one was injured in the process. I would like to thank the Rains County Sheriff’s Office and the Greenville Police Department for their assistance in this case”.
