Houston Police Officer Shot & Killed Responding To A Call

HOUSTON-Sergeant Sean Rios, a 25-year veteran with the Houston Police Department, was shot in killed while responding to a call on his way to work. Rios was assigned to the Airport Division. 

On his way to work he encountered an armed man and two vehicles. A shootout ensued, and Sgt. Rios was fatally wounded. The suspects are still at large. 

Sergeant Sean Rios is survived by parents, four children, a brother, and two cousins that work at the Houston Police Department as well.
