
On, November 21, 2020, at about 11:41 p.m., the complainant, 36-year-old William Stridger, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a female passenger on the back seat. The complainant was traveling southbound in the 9300 block of Julius Schepps Freeway when he made contact with the right rear of another vehicle going southbound. The motorcycle left the roadway and tumbled down an embankment. The unknown vehicle fled the location.
Both parties on the motorcycle were transported to an area hospital where the male complainant died as a result of his injuries. The female passenger, who is related to the driver, is in critical condition. Next of kin notification was made at the scene of the crash. The Vehicle Crimes Unit responded and will be filing a Failure to Stop and Render Aid offense
