Dallas Police Investigating The Shooting Death Of Kendrick Hampton, Who Was Shot While Sitting In His Vehicle

On January 5, 2021, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at 3200 S Lancaster Road. Witnesses stated that an unknown black male shot the victim, Kendrick Hampton, a 29-year-old black male, as he sat in the driver seat of his vehicle, and then fled the location. An associate of the victim drove him to a secondary location, where he was transported to an area hospital by Dallas Fire and Rescue and later pronounced deceased.
