On March 20, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the suspect, wearing a hat and jacket with unknown writing on the back, was involved in a verbal argument with another patron in the club. A witness, with a Polo logo on the back of his jacket, attempted to break up the argument. The suspect then produced a firearm and began shooting inside the club.

On Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 1:30 a.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call at the Pryme Night Club located at 10333 Technology Boulevard. A disturbance between two groups broke out inside the nightclub. The unknown suspect produced a handgun, began shooting into the crowd, and a total of eight individuals were injured. All were transported to area hospitals, and the victim Daisy Navarrete, a 21-year old Latin female, died from her injuries. There are currently no suspects identified or apprehended. The motive and circumstances surrounding the murder are under investigation.
