Commerce Police Department continues to investigate an early morning fatality accident.
Around 6:00AM Wednesday morning, Hunt County EMS along with Commerce Fire & Rescue units responded to the area of Highway 11, near Hope Concrete for reports of a major motor vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, per scanner traffic, units advised there was a single vehicle involved with major damage. Upon further investigation the on scene units learned the passenger of the vehicle was ejected. Justice Of The Peace Kerry Crews was eventually requested to the scene.
Commerce Police Department requested assistance from Texas Department Of Public Safety who were still investigating the accident into the early morning.
