
Shenandoah Texas– On 08/27/21 at about 9:20 a.m., SHPD received a call from Home Depot for a theft in progress. Units arrived and located the male suspect in the parking lot, who fled on foot. He was quickly apprehended and secured without further incident. He had several stolen items hidden inside his clothing. The suspect had a history of evading police, theft, and robbery. He was arrested for theft and evading, which were both enhanced to felony charges due to prior convictions.
While the above investigation was being conducted, a second theft was occurring inside Home Depot. With officers already at the store, a male, unrelated to the first, was detained as he exited. This suspect also had several stolen items hidden in his clothing and was arrested for theft.
