Early Morning Hunt County Accident Claims The Life Of One

At approximately 6:59 a.m. Highway Patrol Troopers were dispatched to a major crash at F.M. 751 just south of State Highway 276 in Quinlan.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a Tan colored F-350 with a trailer was backing out of a private drive. A Blue F-150 was traveling southbound on F.M. 751 and for a yet to be determined reason struck the trailer causing the truck to roll over several times. The Blue F-150 rolled into the northbound lane striking a Gray Hyundai Sonata.

The driver of the F-350 was not injured, the driver of the F-150 was transported to a local hospital in Quinlan with non-life threatening injures. The driver of the Hyundai Sonata was pronounced deceased on scene. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
