At approximately 2:35 a.m. Texas Highway Patrol Troopers were dispatched to a major crash at I-30 west bound just west of Greenville.
Preliminary investigations indicate that a 2017 Truck tractor was traveling westbound on I-3O and a pedestrian attempted to cross all lanes of traffic from the north to the south. The 18-wheeler attempted to take evasive action but was unable to avoid striking the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene, the driver of the truck-tractor was not injured.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
