Prisoner escapes from Seagoville prison Saturday night, officials say

Seagoville, Texas — Saturday night, officials said a prisoner had escaped from the Federal Correctional Facility’s (FCI) Seagoville satellite camp.

The inmate, 35-year-old Josue Coy, was found missing around 8 pm, officials said. He is Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 135 pounds, officials said. He was sentenced to 64 months for plotting with the intention of distributing controlled substances.

Notified by the United States Marshals Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement agencies, the person has begun an internal investigation. The FCI Seagoville satellite camp is a minimal facility and accommodates 96 male inmates.
