The body of the missing man whose truck was located at the Klondike Boat Ramp was recovered from the Cooper Lake Monday morning.

We can confirm that the body of Gerry Grigg was located in or around the Cooper Lake Monday morning. The Delta County Sheriff’s Office along with Texas Park Rangers, Texas State Game Warden and Texas DPS all assisted in the search for Mr. Grigg.

Hunt County Theft Reports learned about the missing man late Sunday night after seeing a post from the family. The family stated in a Facebook post that their Papa was missing since possibly Friday, with his truck being located at the Klondike Boat Ramp. The family stated that Grigg along with a Kayak was missing from the subjects truck. Delta County along with Texas Park Rangers searched till sundown Sunday attempting to locate the missing individual, eventually calling off the search until sunrise.

Monday morning all search teams, including DPS helicopter 101 kicked off the search checking the local lake for the missing mans body. We can confirm just before noon that they were successful in finding the missing man, unfortunately the Justice Of The Peace was requested to the location.
