Four suspects have been taken into custody after a pursuit which started in Hunt County ends in Rockwall County.
Hunt County was notified of a armed robbery that occurred out near the Lone Oak area Monday afternoon. Per scanner traffic 4 suspects robbed a home at gunpoint, then took off in a white Chevrolet Tahoe.
A broadcast was put out over the radio given the vehicle description and the last known direction of travel being Highway 69 Northbound.
A DPS unit spotted the vehicle as it was entering Greenville, the officer requested assistance before making traffic stop. Once a traffic stop was initiated in the area of Interstate 30 Westbound near mile marker 93, the vehicle refused to stop.
The suspect vehicle which was occupied 4 times led officers down interstate 30, getting on and off of the service road attempting to lose officers. Per scanner traffic an occupant of the suspect vehicle pointed a gun at pursuing officers.
DPS helicopter 101 assisted in the pursuit as it entered the Rockwall County line, as well as Rockwall County units joining the pursuit.
The pursuit eventually came to an end after taking the Highway 205 exit with all 4 occupants taking off on foot in the area of Industrial Drive. All 4 suspects were successfully taken into custody.
The suspect vehicle did strike at least one vehicle before exiting the roadway. Per scanner traffic there were no injuries involved in that accident.
