Quinlan Man Identified In The McDonalds Bomb Hoax

Per Hunt County booking reports we have been able to confirm who the suspect is in the Quinlan McDonalds bomb hoax.

Tony Lee Smirl was booked into the Hunt County Detention Center on 12/21/2021 with charges of “Bomb Hoax”. Smirl is accused of placing a fake bomb in the Quinlan McDonalds lobby over the weekend.

A press release issued yesterday by Hunt County Sheriff’s Office stated Quinlan Police Department with assistance from the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office was able to successfully identify the suspect and take him into custody.

Smirl is being held on a $4,000 dollar bond.
