Sulphur Springs Fire responded to the Hopkins County Jail Sunday morning in reference to a fire on top of the building.
Units arrived on the scene and located a small fire coming from a solar panel attached to the top of the structure. Sulphur Springs Fire was able to quickly extinguish the fire.
No injuries or major impacts to jail operations were reported. Great work to all departments involved.
