Rockwall County Hit By Possible Tornado Early Wednesday Morning

At 4:44 a.m. this morning (3/30/2022), a caller advised Rockwall County dispatchers that a possible tornado had just hit a neighborhood near FM 548 North and State Highway 205.

Units responded to the area finding several houses were damaged, and power was out in some of the areas in the southern part of the county. No injuries have been reported.

The National Weather Service, Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management, and McClendon-Chisolm Fire Department will be surveying the area and documenting the damage.
