UPDATE: Both kids have been located, with the second boy being found in the area of CR 2526. THANK YOU TO ALL DEPARTMENTS AND THE COMMUNITY THAT HELPED IN THIS SEARCH.
*UPDATE* The 9-year-old has been located and is safe, scanner traffic suggest the 2 boys got separated at some point overnight. Tracking dogs are being released in the area of Chapel Road where the 9-Year-Old was located in attempts to locate the still Missing 12-year-old. (12:25/Saturday)
The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office got a call to the area of Chapel Road, off of FM 36 Friday evening in reference to a 12 and 9 year old brother missing from their home.
Per the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office the boys were last seen around 7:45PM., Friday evening at their home in the area of Chapel Road. The parents of the children called to report the 2 missing after realizing the boys were gone.
The boys both have blonde hair and blue eyes, 1 was last seen wearing sweatpants with a orange shirt, the other was wearing a white shirt also in sweatpants.
Several Hunt County departments have been searching the area since the boys were reported missing, and have seen no signs of them anywhere. A call came in from a citizen out of the Caddo Mills area stating they believed to have seen the 2 boys leaving the car wash off of FM 36 headed South on foot. Several units responded to the area but were unsuccessful in locating the missing 2.
As of 4:15AM., Saturday morning the boys are still missing. The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office along with Quinlan Fire, & several other local departments are continuing to search the area in attempts to locate the 2 missing children.
