Hunt County Deputy Involved In A Vehicle Vs Pedestrian Monday Night

Monday night the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a Deputy who was involved in a accident.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a marked Hunt County Sheriff’s unit was traveling south on F.M. 751. A pedestrian was walking in the roadway. The pedestrian was struck by the Hunt county unit.

The Deputy was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injures, and the pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
