On May 24, 2022, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call at 12270 Greenville Avenue.
Upon arrival, it was determined that the female victim Identified as Karli Brumit was shot by the suspect, Christopher Smith a 45-year-old male.
Brumit was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The suspect Christopher Smith was booked in on charges of murder. Smith remains in jail on a $250,000 bond.
