We can confirm that a bicycle was also found along with Human Remains Wednesday afternoon on Highway 276 in Rains County. The Texas Rangers, Rains County Sheriff’s Office & Hunt County Sheriff’s Office are all investigating.
We did a interview years back with the old Hunt County Sheriff Randy Meeks. During that interview he stated they believed missing Dallas Firefighter Michael Chambers rode a bicycle away from his home off of FM 2101, not being heard from since.
As of now the identity of the remains found is still unknown. Continued prayers for the Chambers family along with our local agencies who are working this incident. We will update as we learn more.
