On March 24, 2023, Texas Department Of Public Safety responded to FM-3092, just south of Gainesville city limits for a reported MVA involving a Motorcycle.
Preliminary investigation indicates 39 year old David Wayne Mclearen of Denton, Texas was traveling northbound on FM- 3092 on a 2020 Kawasaki ZR9 motorcycle at an unsafe speed. Mclearen failed to negotiate a curve and lost control. The motorcycle exited the roadway and struck a mailbox and fence.
Justice of the Peace Jody Henry pronounced the driver (David Mclearen) and passenger identified as 32 year old Andrea Renee Shaw, of Richardson, Texas deceased at the scene.
This investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available.
