Rockwall County Units Pursue Stolen Land Rover Late Tuesday Night Through 3 Counties

Rockwall County units got into a pursuit late Tuesday night with a stolen Land Rover. The suspect led officers on a pursuit with speeds reaching 100+

The chase entered into Hunt County on I-30EB with Hunt County joining the pursuit. County units had a successful spike near the 97 mile marker of I-30EB. The vehicle continued on into Hopkins County on a front flat tire.

Somewhere near the Cumby area the suspect turned around and went back Westbound, towards the Greenville area. The suspect finally gave up, pulling over to the shoulder of the roadway, on the interstate, just East of the 101 mile marker, on the Westbound side.

With DPS helicopter 101 overhead, a felony traffic stop was made, the suspect Identified from booking reports as Keyon England Banks, was taken into custody without further incident.

Banks was booked into the Rockwall County Detention Center on charges of:

-UNAUTH USE OF VEHICLE

-EVADING ARREST DET W/VEH

-FAIL TO ID FUGITIVE INTENT GIVE FALSE INFO

Banks also had several warrants, out of several different Texas Counties including:
