A Rockwall County unit got in behind a blue sports bike Monday afternoon attempting a traffic stop. The bike refused to stop leading deputies on a pursuit.
The chase entered Hunt County On Highway 66, going through the city of Caddo Mills. The bike finally made it back to I-30, where the suspect turned, heading Eastbound towards Greenville.
With Rockwall County, DPS and Hunt County units in the pursuit, the motorcycle took Highway 34 South, towards Quinlan. The chase finally came to an end on Highway 34, near Boles Home area, when the suspect pulled over and Surrendered.
Units performed a felony stop taking the suspect into custody without further incident. DPS helicopter 101 was overhead during this pursuit
The suspect identified from booking reports as Tyler Ray Greenwood of Royse City, has been booked into the Rockwall County Detention Center on charges of:
- EVADING ARREST DET W/VEH
- RECKLESS DRIVING
Greenwood remains booked into the Rockwall County Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
