
The U.S Marshals have made an arrest on a murder suspect wanted for killing his wife, back in late March.
Suspect identified as 37-year-old Danny Brown has been taken into custody by the U.S Marshals. Brown was located and arrested at an apartment complex in Dallas, Texas. The suspect took off running on foot from officers upon making contact. Brown was eventually captured and placed into custody.
Brown is wanted in connection to a Little Rock, Arkansas murder. Brown is being charged for reportedly killing his wife.
Per police reports, on March 27, 2023 Little Rock officers responded to a residence in the area of Fairlee Drive in reference to a shooting. Once officers arrived on scene they located a female victim deceased from an apparent gunshot wound, later identified as Browns wife, Edwina Brown.
Police said in a statement that Brown made a mistake by contacting Little Rock Police Department stating if he was approached by law enforcement, he would harm himself and others. The U.S Marshals were able to gain a location on the wanted killer, eventually taking the suspect into custody.
Brown has since been transported to the Dallas County Detention Center, booked in on charges of Capital Murder. Brown will remain in Dallas Custody until he can be transported back to Little Rock, Arkansas.
Capital murder is premeditated murder, a murder committed during the commission of a violent felony, or a murder committed under certain aggravating circumstances. This crime is punishable by execution or life in prison without the possibility of parole.
