On Monday morning, an incident occurred at the Sherman Municipal Airport wherein a small airplane veered off the runway and flipped over.
Authorities from the Sherman Police Department responded to the scene located in the 1200 block of South Dewey Ave at approximately 10:30 a.m. The aircraft was discovered flipped over, but fortunately, the pilot sustained no injuries.
The Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration will conduct inquiries into this occurrence for further investigation.
