Incident 1: An officer stopped Jeff Joe Dunken (46) of Paris for a traffic equipment violation in the 10 block of Bonham St. A local check revealed that Dunken had an outstanding Parole Warrant. Duncan was arrested upon confirmation of the warrant. A subsequent search of Duncan’s person revealed narcotics contained in Duncan’s personal property. Duncan denied knowledge of the substance but was nonetheless charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed without incident.

Incident 2: Officers served a Parole Warrant on Garon Dee Sims (63) of Paris in the 300 block of Bonham St. Sims was arrested on the warrant and searched. Inside his coat pocket officers found drug paraphernalia and narcotics. Sims was charged with the warrant as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was booked and placed in jail.

Incident 3: Officers were dispatched to a Burglary of a Motor Vehicle occurring in the 2100 block of Graham St. The victim advised that he had left his vehicle unlocked. Suspects had entered the vehicle and stolen several items including shoes, firearm accessories, and a handgun. Evidence was collected at the scene and the case investigation is ongoing.

Additional Police Activity: Officers made 41 traffic stops, 3 adult arrests, and answered 120 calls for service for this reporting period.
