HOPKINS COUNTY, TX — January 28, 2025: Steven Kade Vickery, a 27-year-old man from Sulphur Springs, was arrested during a drug investigation conducted by the Sulphur Springs Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit.
According to the affidavit, Vickery was identified as attempting to sell THC vape pens via Snapchat. Evidence gathered during the investigation included communication between Vickery and an undercover officer, who purchased several THC pens weighing approximately 6 grams. Following the undercover transaction, officers obtained a search warrant and arrested Vickery without incident for delivery of controlled substances.
Vickery was charged with delivery of THC (greater than 4 grams but less than 400 grams). He was transported to the Hopkins County Jail, with a bond amount set at $100,000.
