Location: Near FM 3019 and Highway 11E, Hopkins County
On the evening of February 4, 2025, Hopkins County deputies conducted a roadside investigation near FM 3019. During the investigation, officers stopped to check on a vehicle on the side of the roadway, with hazard lights on, driven by Ryan Emmitt Bonner, 31, of Winnsboro. Stevie Danyelle Needham, 28, of Winnsboro, was a passenger in the vehicle.
Deputies discovered marijuana-related paraphernalia inside the vehicle, including a rolled “blunt” filled with marijuana and a small clear baggie containing marijuana residue. Both Needham and Bonner were arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
The vehicle was impounded and both individuals were transported to Hopkins County Jail for booking. Authorities continue to stress the importance of keeping roadways safe and preventing the illegal use of controlled substances.
