Details: Officers investigated an embezzlement/theft case in the 1300 block of Clarksville St. An employee of a business stole over $2,500 from the business over several months. The incident remains under investigation.
Incident 2: DUI with a Child in the Vehicle

Details: Jasmine Desiree Johnson (29) was arrested on a Motion to Revoke Warrant out of Wood County for Driving While Intoxicated with a Child in the Vehicle. She was processed without incident and taken to Lamar County Jail.
Incident 3: Public Intoxication and Narcotics Possession
Date: February 5, 2025
Details: Dana Samwell Carmichael (44) was arrested in the 1800 block of Lamar Avenue after officers responded to a welfare concern. Officers found narcotics in Carmichael’s possession. He was charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Incident 4: Aggravated Sexual Assault
Date: February 5, 2025
Details: Steven Michael Harris-Mills (38) was arrested in the SE area of Paris for Aggravated Sexual Assault and Interference with an Emergency Phone Call. Evidence collected at the scene supported the charges, and Harris-Mills was taken into custody without incident.
Additional Police Activity: Officers made 13 traffic stops, 5 adult arrests, and answered 101 calls for service during this reporting period.
