Fate Resident Arrested on Child Pornography and Evidence Tampering Charges

The Fate Department of Public Safety (DPS) has announced the arrest of a local resident following a two-month investigation into child exploitation crimes. The arrest stemmed from a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, leading to a search warrant and the discovery of electronic devices containing illicit materials.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect David Johnson was taken into custody without incident and is currently held at the Rockwall County Detention Center with total bonds set at $340,000. The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the Dallas ICAC Unit, Rockwall PD, and Royse City PD.
