Jace James Pharis Arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child

HOPKINS COUNTY, TX – Authorities have arrested 19-year-old Jace James Pharis in connection with an aggravated sexual assault of a child case.

According to law enforcement records, Pharis was apprehended on February 12, 2025, following an ongoing investigation. Reports indicate that the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office had placed Pharis into custody before coordinating his transfer to Hopkins County for booking.

Deputies confirmed that Pharis was transported to the Hopkins County Jail. He was formally booked on one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child, classified as a first-degree felony.

Authorities have set his bond at $150,000, and he remains in custody as the investigation continues.
