Sulphur Springs, TX – On February 13, 2025, authorities in Sulphur Springs conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an expired registration. The stop led to the arrest of two individuals, Jeanni Marie Tiner, 42, and Courtney Dean Brown, 49, after officers discovered illegal substances in their vehicle.

According to the police report, an officer observed excessive nervousness in the driver and passenger, prompting further investigation. Upon receiving consent to search the vehicle, law enforcement officers found a plastic bag containing methamphetamine and a separate bag containing a leafy green substance believed to be marijuana.

Both Tiner and Brown denied ownership of the contraband but were placed under arrest and transported to the Hopkins County Jail. They face charges related to possession of controlled substances.
