Incident 1: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Date: February 14, 2025
Details: Marshall Allen Fox (46) was arrested after being observed in a vehicle involved in an Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle (UUMV) case from February 13. A search revealed stolen property in Fox’s possession. A warrant was obtained, and Fox was arrested without incident.
Incident 2: Controlled Substance Possession
Date: February 14, 2025
Details: Amber Leann Kyle (43) was arrested at the local Probation Office on a warrant for Motion to Adjudicate Guilt on a Possession of Controlled Substance charge. She was taken to Lamar County Jail.
Incident 3: Arrest for Outstanding Warrant
Date: February 15, 2025
Details: Officers arrested Reginal Terrell Lyons (36) in the 1200 block of NE 14th Street on an outstanding warrant from the Austin Parole Board. He was transferred to Lamar County Jail.
Incident 4: Business Burglary
Date: February 15, 2025
Details: A business in the 2300 block of Lamar Avenue was burglarized, with suspects breaking a window to enter. Beauty products and hair styling items were reported stolen. The investigation remains ongoing.
Incident 5: Domestic Assault
Date: February 16, 2025
Details: Officers responded to an assault in the 3100 block of Pine Mill Rd. The victim reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her, pulling her hair, slamming her head into a door, and twisting her ankle. The suspect fled before police arrived. The case remains under investigation.
Incident 6: Domestic Assault by Strangulation
Date: February 16, 2025
Details: Beau Louis Carrol (35) was arrested in the 1800 block of NE Loop 286 for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath, a felony. Officers observed visible injuries on the victim, confirming the assault. Carrol was taken into custody without incident.
Additional Police Activity: Officers made 49 traffic stops, 8 adult arrests, and answered 262 calls for service during this reporting period.
