Kaci Lynn Shackelford Arrested in Hopkins County for Drug Possession

Hopkins County, TX – On February 17, 2025, law enforcement officers conducted a routine traffic stop near Shannon Road West and Texas Street in Hopkins County, Texas, which led to the arrest of Kaci Lynn Shackelford, 34.

According to the arrest report, officers observed suspicious behavior from Shackelford, prompting them to conduct a further investigation. When questioned, Shackelford displayed nervous behavior, and during a search, officers discovered drug paraphernalia in her possession. A straw containing a white powder residue was found along with a rolled-up dollar bill containing similar residue.

She was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Hopkins County Jail without incident. She is currently facing a charge for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a warrant number OCA# 2500003096.

Authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to local law enforcement.
