Hunt County Sheriff’s Office Seizes Meth and Firearms in Major Drug Bust
February 21, 2025 – Hunt County, TX – The Hunt County Sheriff’s Office successfully conducted a large-scale narcotics operation on February 17, 2025, leading to the seizure of more than 600 grams of methamphetamine and multiple firearms.
According to the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, the narcotics operation took place in South Hunt County, targeting individuals involved in drug distribution. Authorities executed a search and arrest operation, leading to the discovery of a large quantity of methamphetamine and illegal firearms.
Kimberlynn Reddick Arrested in Mississippi
Further investigations revealed that Kimberlynn Reddick was actively evading law enforcement. On February 19, 2025, Reddick was intercepted and arrested in Meridian, Mississippi, on an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody on charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine and is currently awaiting transfer back into Hunt County custody.
Authorities confirmed that Reddick had been under surveillance for suspected involvement in organized drug distribution. Her arrest marks a significant step in dismantling a regional narcotics network.
Law Enforcement’s Continued Efforts
Hunt County Sheriff Terry Jones praised the coordinated efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies in ensuring the success of this operation.
“This operation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to eradicating illegal drug activity from our community,” said Sheriff Jones. “We will continue to pursue individuals who engage in drug trafficking and bring them to justice.”
