Jean Claudy Jean Arrested for Public Intoxication in Hopkins County

February 23, 2025 – Hopkins County, TX – A man identified as Jean Claudy Jean, 41, was taken into custody by the Sulphur Springs Police Department on charges of public intoxication. The arrest took place at 1495 Industrial Dr E, a commercial property in Hopkins County.

Incident Report

Authorities responded to reports of an intoxicated individual at the industrial property. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Jean, who was found inside a vehicle. Officers immediately noticed open alcoholic beverages in plain sight. When questioned, Jean displayed clear signs of intoxication, and officers detected a strong odor of alcohol on his breath.

Arrest and Charges

After conducting a field sobriety test, officers determined that Jean was intoxicated to the point of being a danger to himself and others. He was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Hopkins County Jail without incident. The vehicle was impounded by Benson Brothers Towing.
