On February 23, 2025, Sulphur Springs police arrested Cortney Shay Noble, 33, after discovering methamphetamine inside her vehicle during an encounter with law enforcement.
According to the Sulphur Springs Police Department, officers approached a vehicle occupied by Noble and another individual at a location in Sulphur Springs. During the interaction, an officer noticed a glass pipe containing a crystal-like substance in plain view inside the vehicle. Based on this observation, police conducted a probable cause search.
During the search, officers discovered two clear baggies containing a crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine. The substance, which was later weighed in its original packaging, amounted to approximately 1.3 grams.
Noble was detained and she was read her Miranda Rights but declined to speak with officers. Authorities proceeded to arrest Noble and transport her to the Hopkins County Jail without incident.
