Frisco, Texas Shooting Under Investigation
FRISCO, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Texas Rangers are investigating an officer-involved shooting that took place in Frisco on March 6, 2025.
According to a statement released by the Texas DPS, officers with the Frisco Police Department were attempting to serve felony arrest warrants at a residence in the 5400 block of Travis Drive when gunfire erupted. No officers were injured in the exchange.
The Frisco Police Department stated that the shooting occurred shortly after 6:00 PM. Authorities have confirmed that this is an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The Texas Rangers have taken over the investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
