GREENVILLE, Texas – Authorities in Greenville are investigating a shooting incident that left a child injured in the parking lot of Hunt County Regional Medical Center on March 18, 2025.
According to the Greenville Police Department, officers were alerted at approximately 4:07 PM that a child was being treated for a gunshot wound at the hospital, located at 4215 Joe Ramsey Boulevard.
Investigators determined that the gunshot wound was sustained inside a parked vehicle in the hospital’s parking lot. Law enforcement officials believe this was an isolated incident, and there are no outstanding suspects at this time.
The case has been turned over to the Greenville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, which is actively conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
