SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas – A woman from Katy, Texas was arrested in Hopkins County on March 21, 2025, after allegedly assaulting a nurse providing care at Christus Mother Frances Hospital.
Authorities say 36-year-old Antonia Fran Sandra Villa punched a nurse in the stomach while receiving emergency medical treatment. The incident was reported around 7:19 p.m., and Sulphur Springs Police responded shortly after.
According to the arrest affidavit, officers arrived and confirmed visible pain and redness to the nurse’s abdomen. The nurse was identified as a public servant actively discharging official duties at the time of the assault.
Villa was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hopkins County Jail. She was booked on a charge of Assault on a Public Servant (F3).
Authorities have not released additional details at this time.
