HOPKINS COUNTY, TX – A high-speed pursuit on Interstate 30 ended in the early morning hours of March 27 with the arrest of a 28-year-old man from Pittsburg, Texas. Deputies with the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office observed a black Chevrolet Silverado traveling at an excessive speed near mile marker 127 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop.

No injuries were reported as a result of the pursuit. Deputies credited effective coordination and clear communication in bringing the incident to a safe resolution.
