SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX — A Sulphur Springs man has been arrested following reports of suspicious activity near a local residence. Officers were dispatched just after midnight on May 20, 2025, to investigate a potential attempted break-in.
The suspect, identified as Julio Supe Caál, age 26, was allegedly seen trying to enter a trailer located on Parkins Street. A resident alerted dispatch after observing someone believed to be Caál attempting to look inside a window using a chair for elevation.
Upon arrival, police contacted the caller and her husband, who confirmed the suspect’s actions and reported that the trailer door was open. When officers canvassed the area, they found Caál walking near the scene wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. He was detained and questioned but refused to provide additional information.
Officers spoke with individuals where Caál was residing. They stated that he had recently returned in a hurry, changing clothes.
Caál was placed in double-locked handcuffs and transported to the Hopkins County Jail without further incident. He was officially charged with Disorderly Conduct (MC).
