SULPHUR SPRINGS, TX — A late‑night disturbance call led to a public intoxication arrest near the 1200 block of Main Street on August 16, 2025, according to Sulphur Springs Police Department (SSPD) records.
The affidavit states officers were dispatched at 11:57 p.m. on Aug. 15 for reports of a female running into the roadway. Officer C. Robinson contacted the subject, identified as Leticia Kay Nicole Munoz, age 29. Officers documented rapid speech, screaming, and uncontrolled arm movements. Munoz reportedly told officers she had consumed methamphetamine.
Based on observed impairment, officers determined the subject was intoxicated in a public place to the degree she was a danger to herself or others. Munoz was taken into custody at approximately 12:12 a.m. and transported to the Hopkins County Jail.
