Fire Truck Rollover in Hunt County Prompts Emergency Response and Road Closure

Hunt County, TX – Emergency crews are actively responding to a serious motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving a fire truck in the 7100 block of FM 36 South.

At approximately 1:08 PM, Hunt County EMS and South Hunt County Rescue units were dispatched to the crash site. Initial reports confirm that a fire truck was involved in a rollover crash, and at least one person has sustained injuries.

By 1:15 PM, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) units arrived at the scene. A medical helicopter was launched and is enroute to the area for patient transport.

FM 36 South is currently shut down as emergency operations continue. Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
