Greenville TX drug bust scene

GREENVILLE, TX – A months-long investigation into suspected drug activity at a Greenville residence culminated in a major law enforcement operation this week, resulting in the recovery of multiple narcotics and a firearm.

Detectives from the Greenville Police Department, assisted by the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office, began their investigation earlier this year after receiving information about methamphetamine distribution at a home located in the 4100 block of Park Street.

On September 26, 2025, Greenville officers executed a search warrant at the residence with the support of deputies from the Wood County and Hunt County Sheriff’s Offices. The search uncovered a significant amount of illegal substances, including:

  • Methamphetamine
  • Crack cocaine and powder cocaine
  • PCP (phencyclidine)
  • Marijuana
  • Hydrocodone (prescription opioid)
  • Alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax)
  • One firearm

Two male suspects were taken into custody on multiple felony drug charges. One of the individuals is also facing an additional charge for unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed pending further evidence and lab results. Authorities have not yet released the names of the individuals involved.

The Greenville Police Department thanked the partnering agencies for their cooperation and emphasized their continued commitment to disrupting illegal drug activity in the community.
